Members are asked to attend every rehearsal and concert, and to arrive on time. Please notify band co-presidents Kevin Bruns or Amy Lawler if you will be late or absent.
The South High Community Band asks band participants to consider making a tax-deductible donation at the start of each band season. This vital support ensures we can pay our director fairly, purchase music and materials, and support the South High music programs. However, all participants are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
The suggested donation per musician is:
- Participation in Concert Band: $80.00/season
- Participation in Jazz Band: $40.00/season
- Participation in both bands: $120.00/season
Band members may pay online using our member donation platform.
Concert attire is generally all black, although we will wear our South High Community Band t-shirts for some events.
